Behind The Scenes

Who is Family Theater Productions?

The Catholic Family Media Center on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

For over 67 years we have been creating family friendly programs. Family Theater reaches families around the world through RADIO, TELEVISION, FILM, BILLBOARDS and THE INTERNET with broadcast quality programs.

Family Theater Productions continues Father Peyton’s media mission as a member of Holy Cross Family Ministries, Easton, Mass., sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross.

Recent Projects:

  • Season Five of Classic Radio Programs  are available to broadcast stations. These re-mastered classic dramas feature some of the biggest stars of the "Golden Age of Hollywood."
  • Carrying On,” the Twelfth film in our Manifest Mystery Anthology is completed and available for retail and broadcast. This half hour format film tells the story of a selfish young woman who travels to the Philippines to check out where her Grandmother is spending all the family money and in the process learns what it means to serve others. This story can be used to explore the meaning of the Mystery of the Carrying of the Cross.
  • “Pray the Rosary With Father Peyton” offers the voice of Servant of God, Father Patrick Peyton praying each set of the mysteries of the rosary with images from classic Family Theater Bible Dramas. The series is available at the Family Rosary You Tube Channel.
  • Advent Christmas Phone App  created for families. Once again Holy Cross Family Ministries created a Mobile App for Advent and Christmas. The app featured daily Scripture selections and a brief audio reflection, written by Family Theater Production’s, Father David Guffey, CSC, and recorded in the Family Theater studios using the talents of actors from Hollywood and our production staff.
