Family Theater's First Advent Evening of Reflection Featuring Author Heather King
"Life means waiting.” Heather King quotes Fr. Alfred Delp, SJ, a Jesuit captured and killed by the Nazis in World War II, during one of her talks. On a winter’s night, 20 retreatants gathered in our chapel at Family Theater Productions to reflect on the meaning of Advent.
The evening provided a relaxing and contemplative atmosphere for people to gather, reflect and enter into the Advent season. Heather King spoke about Fr. Alfred Delp, SJ and Caryll Houselander. We had time for silent prayer, confession, and two conferences with Heather King and time with friends old and new.
Heather King’s writings can be found in the Magnificat, on Amazon Books, and on her blog shirtofflame.blogspot.com.
