La Historia de Quién Soy

A dynamic, provocative, award-winning series, La Historia de Quién Soy ("The Story of Who I am"), depicts the Cervantes family: Rafael and Luisa and their teenage children, Gloria and Miguel. It is the clash of two cultures, the old and the new. How can the Cervantes' find the best of both worlds?

Luisa is intelligent, sweet and assertive as she endures the challenges of being a stay-at-home mom. Rafael has lost his job and struggles to start his own business while facing his weaknesses and prejudices. Grandmother Dulce comes to live with the Cervantes and encounters both a foreign language and a world of mixed up priorities. Gloria and Miguel encounter common teen issues: alcohol, drugs, violence and peer pressure. We also meet family friends Loco and Angelina. Loco is an ex-gang member who struggles to come clean. Angelina seeks to escape an abusive family, but ends up pregnant from an affair with a married man.

It is the story of every Latino family — searching our past, our families, and our traditions — embracing both the joy and pain of living.
